Cedar County Needs You to be Counted

Your hometown needs you to be counted and it’s not too late.  While we all have been rightfully distracted with recent events. It's important to find the time to respond to the 2020 Census.  To make it easier for you, this year you can take the Census online by clicking the link: US CENSUS ONLINEOnce you have responded, please encourage your family, friends, and loved ones to complete the census, too. Responding to the census is not only your civic duty; it also affects the amount of funding your community receives, how your community plans for the future, and your representation in government. Specifically, data from the 2020 Census are used to: 


• Ensure public services and funding for schools, hospitals, and fire departments.

• Plan new homes and businesses and improve neighborhoods.

• Determine how many seats your state is allocated in the House of Representatives.


This is one of easiest ways to help GrowCedar just by making make you're counted.
