One of Cedar County long time asset has been the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach office located in Tipton. The mission of this organization is to carries Iowa State’s land-grant mission throughout the county . It connecting the needs of our citizens with Iowa State University research and resources. They provide education and partnerships designed to solve today’s problems and prepare for the future. It is the home off popular county programs in agriculture and natural resources, health and sciences, 4-H youth development and economic development.
On Friday, October 28 the Tipton office with the 99 other county offices across Iowa will be offing Cy Day event. It will be end of the week fun and might even learn a thing or two. They encourage everyone to stop by, even Hawkeye fans
