As summer is winds down, there is still time to sneak in some Cedar County fun and put one more community event on your schedule. This time the fun is in Durant, Iowa. The Cedar County community is offering a full weekend of events during this last of summer hurrah. The Durant Firefighters Festival has carnival rides for the kids, a Texas Hold'em tournament for the adults, and the music of Lynn Allen and Wild Oatz for everyone.
